Using Akosua’s definition … and MITA’s brain based smart skills…. your rubric to measure diversity at work… would include:
1). Opportunities to examine beliefs and eliminate old stereotypes
2). Safe but challenging environments which engage opposing views
3). Motivation to both teach and learn from one another
4). Celebration of differences across cultures and countries
5). Mutual benefits between the workplace and its wider communities
How many of these criteria would draw a drum roll or at least a “mostly so” from your workplace?
