The whole VTC thing got me thinking about professional development and business growth…. I like to substitute the word “training” for development and I’d love to see the human brain factor in more. It would be quite easy if we:
-- Build on people’s past experiences and engage more talents of people who learn with us
-- Collaborate in all sessions to both learn from and teach with all participants who attend
-- Ask questions that spark curiosity for new topics and then really hear and value people's responses
I especially liked Joe’s suggestion for bonuses as a reward but I would want to hold back the rewards to be given to those who take the training into an application at work…. Now there is a way to get the training into the business for tangible growth in return…. What do you think…?
