Did you know the human brain rewires itself daily, based on what we
think, do, say, see, hear and feel that day? So what you DO today counts more than you may realize…
Check out Danah Zohar, author of, Rewiring the Corporate Brain: Using the New Science to Rethink How We Structure and Lead Organization. It’s quite simple once you get the hang of it– your brain reshapes itself according to your chosen world….but it takes a deliberate plan on your part ... to rewire dendrite brain cells for success.
Zohar suggests the corporate brain should:
-- thrive on uncertainty
-- deal creatively with rapid change
-- realize the full potential of those who work with us
What would you do, for instance, to rewire your brain for any one of these?
Think back to one thing you did that improved a difficult situation? Based on what you, saw, heard or felt at that significant point in your life, what could you do to improve today?
Do you agree with the Danah Zohar’s statement: “If leaders deepen their understanding of the potential of the brain – if they raise their own consciousness of brain dynamics, structure and capacity – they will be better placed to rewire the corporate brains of the companies they lead?”
If you agree... how might that change your day…?
