
Apparently lead exposure leads to brain cell loss and damage many years later… looks like it’s even worse than once thought… and that “Eighteen years later, people who worked with lead have significant loss of brain cells and damage to brain tissue, according to a new study published in the May 23, 2006, issue of Neurology, the scientific journal of the American Academy of Neurology.
Check out the details of this study … that “examined 532 former employees of a chemical manufacturing plant who had not been exposed to lead for an average of 18 years. The workers had worked at the plant for an average of more than eight years.“
Lead accumulations in the workers’ bones ... as viewed through MRI scans were measured where white matter lesions resulted or where small areas of damage were spotted in the brain tissue.... What do you think...?
