I really liked the ideas I read at Francois' site today as a reminder to stop and learn
from one another. Interestingly we now know that our interpersonal intelligence can help us to rewire our brains for more diversity.... What do you think this could do at work...?
Here are a few practical tips to try:
1. Post a quote on the company website to reflect one part of your culture you most admire and tell why...
2. Share one story of a lesson you learned from a person in another culture to promote business at your workplace...
3. Interview two people from different cultures to get their views about one issue at work and then share each viewpoint briefly at the next staff meeting...
Do you see how much we can learn about success from tapping into the rich resources that get us past one way of doing business...? What do you think?
