I don't know the physical effects of cell phone use...but I can tell you that it's dangerous to my health! I've almost been hit a number of times by people not paying attention when they're driving and on the cell phone...which causes my blood pressure to rise!! :)

Pretty amazing that cell phones, something I'd never consider helpful in disease research, might acutually hold a key to new insights!

Oh I am glad you were not hit! Maria, you raise an interesting point here about our brain's capabilities to focus and you showed what happened when we overload the circuits -- which vary in size and capabilities for all of us! Thanks for sharing that side of cell phones -- which can jump cortisol hormones that are unhealthy for our brains...
