The brain reshapes itself and brings back results based on what you feed it and how you act on that. Pretty good news when you remember to front end what you are going for.
Brain cells still have it over computers in that area, but the race is getting closer to a tie. Did you know they now have fairly accurate translation machines that will spit back what you are saying into many languages?
Glitches do still need to be worked out though, as one senior theologian discovered. Apparently a salesperson for a translation machine forgot to tell a senior and rather renowned German theologian about the glitch possibilities, before his highly attended keynote. The scholar wanted to prove he was in tune with his audience at an international conference on the topic of theology for a new era, and instead he proved he was duped by a machine. Here’s how….![]()
With more confidence than any brain should have, this man fed in the words: THE SPIRIT IS WILLING BUT THE FLESH IS WEAK. With equal confidence the translation machine shot back: THE FOOD IS GOOD HERE BUT THE WINE IS POOR. When the speaker saw his host’s jaw drop from the front row seats, he suspected something went terribly wrong. Could it be that linguistic intelligence is still reserved for human brains at its peaks? What do you think?
