It’s all about finding competitive edges from extravagant talents that come to work daily, but too often work against quality outcomes. You’ll pick up tips to avoid stress that shuts down innovation and discover new leadership capabilities that build benefits associated with mental acumen -- readily available but often overlooked. We will discuss new brain breakthroughs, whether these be multiple intelligences that rev up the office, mental hormone balance that adds well-being to a board room, or mind-bending tactics that prevent personal dissatisfaction at work.
Want a competitive edge to solve stubborn problems that limit your bottom line? We look forward to making The Brain Based Business Blog an interactive bank where you’ll deposit insights, build ideas, and takeaway innovative solutions that offer business breakthroughs for your enterprise. Hey, Ellen!
I am so glad to see you are up and running.
I look forward to reading your blog and tapping into more resources. In my case it may be as simple as figuring out that I have a brain - my wife would say.

Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by and for the humor Bill. Technology can also zap us (or at least me) into the "no-brain" domains also:-)

"No brain" is far different than "no-brainer" in this case:-)

The leaders and bloggers on this site have been SO HELPFUL....

Ellen, welcome to Know More Media! I hope you can help us all unlock our mental powers. Especially Bill :P. Kidding - my brain is fried from school at the moment so any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

I look forward to working with you and reading your posts.

Ellen, I think you were born to be a blogger! You write to know your world. Your insights are like no one else's. I look forward to a fresh and positive vision of our world and more importantly a fresh vision for ourselves within it! Congratulations -- I sense your blog will become world famous.

Thanks Easton, and thanks for all the brain power you stuffed into this site! No wonder your brain is fried:-).

I hope you'll stay tuned because I plan to serve up fried, easy over and scrambled brains.

Today I'll challenge brainpower in a post called "How are you smart," and I suspect you and Bill'll both take places at the front of the class where you belong!

Great to have you on our author team, Ellen. Excellent job on your posts. I'm looking forward to the future of this blog.

Dan, you have done so much to stage the brain based business roundtable here.

Thanks so much!

Hopefully we'll all grow a few brain cells because of your great help! Now we also await your wisdom in the blogs...

Welcome to the team Ellen. I would have welcomed you earlier but I didn't even see that you were a part of us until today.

I am also looking forward to your keen insights into brain food.

Gary, thanks for your kind words! The fun part about brain bits is that it takes "dendrite" cells all around to make great outcomes -- so let's see what we get up and popping over the next weeks.

There are sure lots of bright people out there so we'll likely see some of the good stuff show up to challenge us in a new direction or two.

Ellen,

What a fascinating topic! I have a keen interest in psychology and metaphysics, so I'll definitely learn quite a bit from you... So far, I like what I have read!

Just wanted to drop by and welcome you to the group ;)

» Know More Media Review: Milestones, Using Your Brain and New Frontiers from Know More Media
We have made it through our first couple of weeks of the new year and already Know More Media has both witness and experienced its own milestones. Earlier this week I wrote about the the Freedom Writers movie premier weekend,... [Read More]

Ellen,

Ellen, I just had a question for you and i was hoping you might have an answer. My grandmother has been living with alzheimer's disease for about 10 years now. My great grandmoter also had the disease. Im afraid that my mother will get it soon, she is almost 50 now and im afraid her days of the disease are coming. Im a currently a student here at auburn university in Alabama and we had the X CEO of Merck Co. speak to us and he said he thought that the next big break through in medicine would be the cure for alzhiemer's disease. Have you heard anything about this, or could you just share some of your thoughts on what you think we should be doing as a precautionary actoin. Anyway think you so much for taking the time to read this, i hope to be hearing back from you soon. thanks rusty

Thanks for stopping by Rusty, and I am sorry to hear about your grandmothers' having to live with this disease. Here is a blog that will lead you to the study you may be referring to http://www.brainbasedbusiness.com/2006/11/possible_cure_for_alzheimers_d.html

Also, I show the many things that people can do to keep their brains alive and well - far into their senior years. So it's best to encourage your mom to use her brain, exercise, eat well and enjoy her life - without the stress that works against the human brain. Do bookmark this site - because I will be reporting any new research breakthroughs in this significant area!

Yahoooooo! Let's hear it for life in the spongey-lumpy. I feel in love with the human brain at age 20 and it's nice to finally have company in biz world. I will visit this blog regularly as I continue to find neuroscience insights that make business, not only more meaningful, but more fun. Thanks from the center of my amygdala. Laura

Laura, thanks for dropping by and for our shared interest! I will so look forward to your insights at Brain based Business - it is the exchanges that keeps the progress of the human brain alive and tested!
