Have you ever thought of nature's role in human intelligence? Seemed far fetched to me also ... but that was many years ago. Now it motivates me daily, and my naturalistic intelligence was refueled a few days ago by the story of magic in a bike ride.
Anybody remember Hal Halladay’s post? It starts, “There is a something magical about riding a bike. And there is something beyond magical about riding a bike in ,
The story helped me to realize that while I’d have kicked the bucket on that 2-day hike, for me too “there was something magical…” and you too can find yourself on a new trek though nature's magic… That’s if you see naturalistic settings as magical extensions of intelligence….
At this site we'll enter nature's mental magic again and again and we'll gather applications together that link to your brain, in ways that improve your business. ![]()
At the moment, I’ll simply say thanks to Hal Halladay, CEO at Know More Media, for sharing the magic of a mountain bike ride … Thanks also to Howard Gardner at Harvard for sharing how intelligence connects to nature in ways that create magic within each of us!
Bookmark this site and over time we could even head up another mountain or two together on this one. Ok, maybe I’ll cart a mule alongside you, but the magic’s still the same…
What do you think?

Hello Ellen, a mountain peak is great when you visualize it when riding or pushing a bike to the top even if you huff and puff a bit. Somehow it is the coming down from the peak that gets to me especially when I lose the brakes on the bike and I am completely out of control. What is it that makes the descent from the peak so different from the ascent?
